Bacon Production - development of new, redesigned website

We developed and launched a visually striking website for Bacon Production using Webflow, capturing the essence of their creative vision and unique perspective. The client was also trained to manage the site independently.

Bacon Production, a company specializing in film production and post-production, required a modern, responsive website that could effectively showcase their creative approach and professionalism. The site needed to not only be visually appealing but also easy to manage and update.

The Challenge

Our task was to take an existing design and transform it into a fully functional website using the Webflow platform, maintaining a perfect balance between visual aesthetics and usability. It was essential to ensure that every feature and visual element worked seamlessly and that the site could be easily updated and managed by the client without requiring ongoing technical support. Additionally, we were tasked with integrating a custom video player to enhance the user experience for their film content.

Process

Initial Analysis: We started by carefully analyzing the project requirements, focusing on key elements such as animations, interactive components, and responsiveness across various devices. This step was crucial to ensure that the final product would meet the high standards set by Bacon Production.

Webflow Implementation: We then proceeded to build the website in Webflow, leveraging the platform's capabilities to create a dynamic, fully functional site. This included the use of flexible grid layouts, a content management system (CMS), and advanced animations to deliver a smooth user experience.

Custom Video Player Integration: To showcase Bacon Production’s film content, we implemented a custom video player using Vimeo and Vimeo Player JS. This custom player included features such as the ability to share specific video URLs, minimize videos to continue browsing, and pick up where the user left off. These features were designed to provide an enhanced and interactive viewing experience, aligning with Bacon Production's innovative approach to film.

Optimization and Testing: After the initial build and video player integration, the website underwent comprehensive testing to ensure it was fully optimized for performance. We tested it across multiple devices and screen sizes to maintain consistency in both design and functionality.

Client Training: With the website completed, we provided the client with detailed training on how to navigate and manage their new Webflow site. The training covered essential tasks such as content updates, CMS management, managing the custom video player, and making minor design adjustments, ensuring the client could independently manage their site.
